This is inspired by the third part of the The Longest Journey adventure Game series “Dreamfall; Chapters” and the Dreamer character one meets rather late in the game.
The game itself is one I still hold in high regards and its soundtrack is one I still listen to and have many tracks of in my instrumental playlist I like to run while writing or seeking inspiration or self reflexion.
The characters, the episodic character of the storytelling, Both their storylines and also Saga in the house between worlds just got to me bigtime. The idea of manufacturable dreams as a drug and tool for mass control is fascinating as well. So.. I wanted to recreate the First dreamer, as she inspired me 😉 I am also fairly sure there will be more video game characters along the way. I grew up a gamer and it was one of few ways I felt like really connecting with my Dad, and so it is something I never fully stopped doing. So… Enjoy 🙂
